OK. Yeah, I certainly don't want to work through menus each time I turn the camera on underwater. Keeping it at automatic makes sense to me.

I was just messing with the Ikelite housing. The mode button on the back winds around and presses the "Print" button.Well, you won't be able to press the "Print" button because neither the Ikelite nor Canon housing has that button on the outside.![]()
Thanks for sharing that. Good info to know. I've only done about 20 dives with the Ikelite housing. It's much heavier (out of the water) than the Canon housing, so I tend to go with the Canon housing a majority of the time.I was just messing with the Ikelite housing. On my A570 IS using the Ikelite housing... All camera buttons are accessible.
I fully agree, but at least I have access to change settings if I need/want to without having to hack the codeI still think it's best to set up CHDK to auto-run on start up...
