So, I blew the dust of my Mac DPP software, thought I would give it a shot with some new RAW images from the S90, as there are a number of people in this forum that swear by DPP and I'm feeling bored with PS tonite.
I start the Clone Stamp tool, remove a couple of pieces of very minor backscatter, hit OK, back to main editing window, tweek some white balance, color, etc., Convert & Save, and the spec's of backscatter are still there in the newly created JPEG ! The "help" indicates that you will still see the "dust" on the RAW image on the screen after removing, but will be removed when converted & saved.
What in the world am I missing here ? I ain't no dummy, really
