Cancun Playa Mujeres area

We are heading to Cancun and will staying in the play mujeres area north of the hotel zone. Who is good to dive with in the area. We usually dive Cozumel but this is a family trip and only time for 1 day of diving on this trip. Any Suggestions for very experienced divers?

in Playa Mujeres you'll likely be staying at the Excellence, right? I think the in-house dive-op is Aquaworld... Do your research and see if they are the right dive op for you or if you might be better off renting a car for the day and driving to Cancun to dive with one of the many other dive centers in town... I highly recommend my friend Miguel Cachoa (DivePro on SB) Cancun Diving, divePro Cancun Diving, Home for diving in Cancun. Can't go wrong with him.

WE are actually at the new Villa Del Palmar which is close to the ferry that goes across to Isla Murjeres

Then might as well shoot over to the island... plenty of dive ops over there.. I personally don't have much experience with them, but I am sure some of the other members will jump in at any moment and give some recommendations. have a great time!

I would recommend Scorpio divers which are now on Puerto Juarez (north of cancun).
