Is anyone using 3m reflective tape on their fins or tanks?

I am curious if the tape will hold…
and if it helps in low/ no vis for dive buddies?
Fins- Mares Quat’s

Any experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks, Andrew

Yes, we just did that to our tanks after a night dive at Canyon Lake. I put a circle all the way around the top and the bottom. I also put some on the bottom of the tank so it could be seen by your buddy who is following you.

Andrew.... I use reflective mail-box letters and numbers on my doubles (my initials on bottom of tanks) and deco bottles (MOD) on the sides......they show up good in low vis.

I've tried tape, but it didn't stick to my fins very well (hence the yellow fin tips). The tank idea is a good one however. I think I'll ad some decorations before my next dive.

Shoot Andrew... 3M Reflective Tape must first have light bounce
off of it in order to be seen. You know me...
Where I like to go dive you usually can't even see a can light :D
I'm thinking about draging a 25 ft. string of low voltage Christmas Lights behind me and when I loose my buddy I can just circle the wagon and he'll surely find me sooner then later.
