Rummaging around when I saw your query. Question, why would you want to add a backplate to what is essentially a soft backplate harness system?
As a long time Transpac user (10 years), I'm guessing the OP wants the equivalent of the Deluxe Backplate Harness.
The Transpac is a soft backplate system so the answer is no. You can order the Transplate system which is basically the same harness that is designed to be used with a backplate.
