Can I move things around on my 1st stage or will I die?

Several of my regs have that 1/2" LP port, which was annoying when I didn't have any spare 1/2 plugs & wanted to install flex-hoses.

I simply replaced both 1/2" hoses after few yrs with conventional one. The 1/2" hose is hard to find locally or in most places that I had travelled.
The 1/2" plug is also very rare so I keep two as spare. O-ring is easy to replace when I have to service the reg.
I still prefer DS4 over FSR(with 1/2" port) simply because it has 4 LP ports.

I eventually got a crowfoot for my torque wrench just so I could see what "40 in-lbs" (as is commonly specified for hoses) is really like, and lo and behold, it's about "hand tight plus 1/16th of a turn with the wrench."

I always say "click" so I know it is right.
