Soak the Aqualung purge cover in hot water before you try to remove it. The "ears" tend to get brittle with time and if they snap, you probably won"t find a replacement. You can get some life out the octo without a service kit by flipping over the seat if it hasn't been flipped before.

Not familiar with the AC2 but you can probably do the same with that as it's a flow-by piston.
