Here's the deal...
We're looking for some volunteer divers who have gone through the Aquarena Center "Diving for Science" program who might be willing to participate in an event on Friday, Nov. 16. The Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST) is going to be held in Austin. They're running a field trip to Aquarena Center on the day mentioned, and they'll be going through the grounds and some class info, then participants will take a glass bottom boat tour of the lake
We're looking for some divers who would be willing to "work" the archaeological site and maybe some others in order to give the participants of the tour something interesting to watch, just add a little more "appeal".
If you're trained and interested, message me and I'll try to have all the details pulled together. I've already been in contact with the center, and they're gung-ho. Now I have to work out the details with the workshop presenter on time, etc...
Should be fun or at least interesting.
