In an effort to keep developing the skills I learnt during Mike's recent workshop, I'm going to attempt to post regular photos for C & C (I hope that's ok!) So here's the first couple.
Unfortunately I no longer have the beautiful Bali blue to work with so I've tried my best and I didn't also have good viz...maybe only 10-12m but there was a lot of particles in the water. I seem to have a better blue in the first shot, so I think I need to play with the second a bit more.
I like the way the jellyfish tenticles follow the lines of the ship but in the first shot I've cut of the corner of the wreck. In the second I'm a lot further away and have really blown out the corner but cropping:11: :no helps fill the frame and removes most of the blown out area. Also I think the bubbles are a distraction...I tried to photoshop them out, but it looks even worse so that's something to be aware of for next time.
Both were taken at 1/60, F5. Any suggestions on how to improve these photos for the future would be great
1. First photo
2. Unedited version - second photo
3. Cropped version
thanks,
