Obviously if a burst disc blows you replace it, but my question is, should burst discs be replaced on any kind of routine basis? And if so, why?

Did I post this question in the wrong place?

but I recommend that you at least replace it with your Hydrostatic testing every five years. Some have it done every year with their vis... most never get done. Be sure to use the proper torque when tightening the retainer down. A deformed disc will burst early.
