Hi guys,
A 2" female buckle on my Oceanic Flex broke and I'm looking for the best way to repair it. One side of the open end split along the seam. That part of the buckle isn't subjected to a great deal of stress, but I'd like to be sure that whatever adhesive I use to fix it will hold up well. It's currently held together by a zip tie, but I'd like something more permanent (I'm selling it and switching to a BP/W). Thanks!

Anthony

Any shoe repair shop should have the equipment to stitch the nylon very easily. One here did a really great job on my strap when it came unstiched. I haven't had one problem with it since.

Just replace it. That side of the clip should only cost you a couple bucks... and that's a heck of a lot easier than glue that may or may not hold. If it cracked, it probably took a good hit from a tank or something, and whose to say that it won't break somewhere else.

I'd just put on a new on and be done with it.
