Frank,
The company I work for delivers daily to Portland,we have numerous customers that live in that town. I am going to make up a flyer that I can put into their delivery boxes, hopefully the will get out and vote Yes!!! Do you know If and when itll go to the town vote?

1)Anal??? "I" prefer "thorough"

2) Jim , I have been kissing as many mommies as I can chase down, to help this noble cause!

3) Do ...NOT.. tempt me with matches.

4)Mer, Frank (in your absence) has been telling anyone that will lissten, that YOU were the mastermind behind the spiced rum fiasco. And when sh!!t hit the whirlybird, you threw Leo under the bus, blaming him for the whole thing. Your only saving grace, is that no one really lisstens to Frank!

5)When it gets to the town vote, Flyers at the local business's would probably be our best bet. And let's not forget the River East! WRITE IN BOYS AND GIRLS! I will make sure I get postings to the local FD, and see if the locals will post in there stores. Don't bother with the Quonsett Hut, as the owner has stated that she is against the lease. But Chris and I will do all we can. Many of the town volunteer groups, and council members are on board as it is. Offten, the last days of battle are the most filled with anxiety. The Haye's have done as thorough a job as can be hoped, or expected. And it's time to let it land where it will. Lets hope for the best! If for no other reason, just for that little rascal Frank!

Frank, this may be another way to get the word out. My wife was talking to Dean Jacques, while I was under water of course, he apparently runs the web site for the town of Portland (www.portlandct.org). He asked if we and anyone we knew would send him letters expressing their intrest in the development of the quarry. He was interested in getting letters from families, divers, hikers, rock climbers, campers.... anyone who is looking forward to what the Hayes brothers are proposing. His email address is deanjacques@snet.net. He told us that he intends to post the letters on the portland site. From what I understand he knows a bunch of people in town and used to be part of the town government in some way shape or form.

Ken

As a good Portland resident, I keep running up and down the neighborhood, shouting "VOTE FOR FRANK", but the neighbors keep chucking rotten fruit at me, and scram at me to put on my clothes...

anyway, a few of my neighbors still think I am sane and have assured me they will show up and vote in our favor.. Frank, let me know as soon as you can, as to when the vote is going to be held, I will make sure I pass the word out to the neighborhood and some of the businesss contacts I have here in town.. Also, evlery Saturday the town hold a Farmers Market on the "Green", Frank, what do you think about mabye setting up your tent with the pictures and plans Saturday?? It only runs from 7am to Noon, That may be a good litte campaining spot... Let me know, I can help out with that..
