Neil - I will bring my camera next time and get a picture of that huge carp. That is if he can be found again. That Bass looks like the one that was eye to eye with you when we were floating aroung that tree.

BTW, these are some GREAT photos...do you have anymore? Even bad ones. I've been trying to tell people what its like down there, and having a rough time in some cases, selling people on just how cool it is (cool like the fonz, not tempurature!).

At least we know where to look for them for next time.

Too bad they seem a bit more skittish than those bass that were trying to intimidate us.

Thanks,
I have a few more. Unfortunately, my strobes weren't firing so I only took a few using the internal flash. There may be a little backscatter in some of the other pics. I'll post a few more later this evening when I get a chance. These were mostly taken at about 12 ffw along the top of the wall just before dropping into the north part of the quarry.

Nice pictures.

Just how I remember it. My wife keeps chasing my bubbles in her kayak and asking "what did you see, did you find anything?" Now I can show her. I always seem to forget my camera.

Thanks,

I should get better ones next time. The cable to my strobes had failed on this dive so I was using internal flash only. Now that I have identified the problem, I have switched cables and I'm ready for the next dive. Maybe next time we can get some pictures of the the walls at depth with the original ropes and quarry hardware still attached. Or pictures of a motorcycle en route to the surface.

CBSAW and DBG40 (AKA Anal Dave):

GIT R DONE!!!!!! Call your neighbors, call your friends, get them to VOTE!!! Two or three times if they have to!!!

(I'm not telling you what to do, but you are the only two Portland residents that I know!!!)

In all seriousness Frank, is there anything us NON-Portland residents can do in the way of informing the public, putting up signs, handing out pamphlets, kissing babies, kissing mommies, crashing meetings, crashing cars, burning down city hall, ANYTHING!!!! Ok, I got a little out of hand at the end there, but I'm excited, and I want to help out as much as I can!!!
