well back from spending the day diving and saw hubby with his students.... 5 gals and 1 guy

1 female learning because her boyfriend doing the class
1 female learning because she is the sister of the above gal
1 female (16) learning because her dad recently learnt
1 female learning as part of her job/studies
1 female learning because she planning a QLD trip and thought it would be fun and exciting

from experiences, the gals learning to dive for themselves in a minority

i think back to when i started diving almost 10 years ago - i was unattached but planning a solo travel adventure

what i would like to see is more woman diving becasue they want to...not because they were talked into it their male partners

problem also is that most single gals when they learn to dive dont stay single for too long :wink:
