OK, so now I've had a chance to fully assemble 4 full reg sets, and to check and do preliminary orifice adjustments on (8) 2nds, so my next tasks will be to do 'break ins' on everything by leaving regs pressurized overnite, and do final leak tests in the tub' once pony bottle is picked up from the LDS, hope to pick that up next weekend. IP's an the 4 1sts I've played with so far are pretty much spot on @ 135 PSI (Thanks Couv!)

That inline adjuster/IP gauge combo is VERY handy!

Thanks to everyone who's chimed in to help me! :)

2nd stage break in is best accomplishes by just leaving it sit with no tank pressure.
1st stage break in can best be accomplishes by cycling the regs so the soft seat cycles into the hard seat. I use my finger to tap a purge and can get about 1 cycle per second.

Would leaving everything pressurized overnite be a bad thing to do ? Maybe tap the purge for X cycles (whateve X should be ?) then leave everything pressirized overnite as well ?

Cycle each 1st stage 20-30 times or leave them pressurized overnight to break them in. The second stages are already broken in, so once you've adjusted them you're done.

It is not so much that it is a bad thing as it is unnecessary unless you are soaking your regs under pressure. Most LP seats (including your SP 109/156) have much less forceful contact with the orifice when under pressure. It definitely should not hurt anything (other than maybe tank pressure loss if there is a leak).
