I had the chance to dive Brandon Quarry today. The water level appears to have dropped 8 to 15 feet. The car wreck at the shore entry is almost entirely out of the water.

Vis @ 60 feet was about 5ft. There is already a strong thermocline which is affecting visibility.

There is a new lock on the gate and Visibility Unlimited has decided not to make keys available as they had in years past. Given the inconvenience of going to the store to pick up and drop off the key, no air fills, and the lower water table, Brandon Quarry is no longer my favorite place to dive. It is looking a bit tired these days.

Hey Charlie,
5 ft huh? That sucks. I was going to go there with a friend next week, but may do something else. He would have the keys as I think he has a set, but I'm not thrilled bout that particular hole in the ground. Thanks for the report
