Boots, boots, everything boots

Some booties have a ribbed rubber layer on top of the instep (outside & top of the bootie). I have a high instep and find this additional rubber causes discomfort and binding to the fin pocket when removing fins. I just replaced a pair of booties with rubber on top because of that very problem.

I love my Mares Trilastic and Eric his Seasoft Stealth. Both are thick hard-soled boots but we use them with all our dives.
