I know that someone else started talking about this elsewhere but I figured I would start a new thread.
I have read:
Long Island Shore Diver - Short descriptions and directions to about 60 dive sites on Long Island with some pictures and sketches
The Last Dive - About the father/son team who died trying to identify a U-Boat off the cost of NJ. The book goes into a little detail about the history of tech diving.
I am in the process of reading:
Fatal Depth - A book about the 3 divers who died in 1998 diving on the Doria. I am only about a 3rd of the way through it but there is a lot of detail about how the ship sank along with some pictures of her going down. I have just started to get into the details of the dives.
I left adding any real reviews to the descriptions but please feel free to and also to add other books you have read about diving in the area.
Ben
