Weather was too bad to bring the boat home so none in Jan.6 so far in Feb,hoping for 50 by May and then...it is on.

Starting to spear lionfish close to home,we had about 80 pounds Tuesday.Water was cool but 30' vis.

Yep,Just got back into Fl waters Mon,we will be here til May or June.Anywhere from Daytona to Brunswick Ga.Mostly in the warmer Gulfstream influenced depths.
How about you?Diving here lately?Should be some cobia, sheep and flounder inshore and bugs offshore.

Stinkin' Lions.

Chug
Will be shootin' and eetin' Lions mañana.

For FL I've stuck to springs, rivers, and the keys. I have yet to hit the sites up there. My family has a 25ft jet boat, but we've yet to take it through the breakers and fear it would be too rough. What type of craft do you use? How rough is it?

I've been offshore in anything from a 17' CC to my 20' and bigger boats friends have.Currently I captain a 32' commercial spearfishing boat. The diving here is as good as anywhere in the world at times but it averages 20' vis way inshore 40' midways and better way offshore out of recreational depths.I have looked up in 170' from the anchor to see the boat 360' feet away. Also ran into the bottom,it pays to check regularly on all the forums.

Very cool. What are the good charters in there area?
What size waves do you typically experience at the sights.
Is the current bad out there?
