kjpwong:
hi fellas, i just bought a bodyglove pro 2 3.2 wetsuit.
the warranty garantees workmanship, does that include seams and stiches?
is it true that folding up a wetsuit makes it weaker and breaks more easily?
i just got this wetsuit because it was desent when i tried it on and it was on sale, AUS$110.
any reviews on this product

Don't fold your suit, it should be hung on a broad hanger. The broad hanger will distribute the weight in the shoulder area so you don't get a crushed line where all the weight is carried on a small hanger. The broad hanger will also facilitate drying. Folding or stuffing will form creases where the material takes a crused set. At best they will reduce the insulating capability in these small areas and the suit will look shabby. It can't help the strength of the suit but I'm not so sure it hurts much either.

If you need to pack it for travel try puilling the arms and legs 1/2 way into each other it can help avoid fold lines.

I would think seams and stitches would be one of the few things besides zippers that are covered.

my local dive shop has last year's X2 7mm body glove for $169. i wasnt interested in it because it didnt have the sealed seams. (divensurf - redondo beach, ca)
