With my new DSL connection, I lost the chat rooms that were available to me with AOL. I'm not really up on chat rooms, etc., so here's the question. Does anyone know a link to a group of chat rooms that might have folks discussing boats, boating, maintenance, etc. Thanks for any help.

If you use to use AOL you should still be able to sign up for AOL Instant Messenger which should give you access to the old AOL chat rooms you use to use.

You should also be able to change your AOL service to Bring Your Own Access (BYOA) and connect to AOL (at a reduced rate too!) using your DSL connection.

That's the way I do it and it's great! Very few of the boots or disconnects that people using the regular AOL service experience.
