there's another place you can moor if you're military/navy..

Iroquois Point.. an inlet near the mouth of Pearl Harbor (west bank)..
especially if you live Ewa Beach side..
 
I'm surprised Rainbow Bay doesn't have any slips...
 
Is Iroquis Point military? I thought it was public.

I have talked to Hickam and they said the mmring balls actually below to one of the local yacht clubs. Hickam is renting the space to them. Supposedly any open mooring balls will be offered to military once all the yacht club members are satisifed.

I hope Rainbow still has 11 mooring balls when I get there in Feb. A slip or mooring ball will be on the top of my list when I arrive.
