Since I started this tread, I want to update everyone. Given the wonderful weather here in central Indiana this weekend, I've thrown in the proverbial towel. Rain in July with surface and air temps in the 70s/80s is one thing, but cold rain, 40-50 degree water temps with air temps also in the 50s and diving wet ... too much for me!

Dean810:
Haigh quarry is $20. It is very popular around here. Are there other issues with Blue Springs?

If BS had nearly the same facilities that Haigh has then most would pay the $20.

Unfortunetely, it's not just Indiana. I would invite you up here, but we are getting the same!

Sorry to hear that Dean. Looking at the map, it looks like a wholesale GLWC washout this weekend. What a mess.

Even though there appears to be a hurricane over MI/WI/IL/OH/IN and the news said there was a small earthquake in OH (near Lima) last night my students will still be diving at White Star Saturday--they said they were going to dive Sunday too, we'll see ;)

They're just trying to impress the teacher.

LOL! They're just trying to pass the class ;) They've been troopers though!

I was in the dive shop yesterday and heard a rumor. Rumor has it that BS is going to put in showers this year. Anybody heard anything about this?

Fellow Inland Divers...
I notice you all talking about your local freshwater diving locations. I just wanted to make you aware of our site where we have an interactive map for finding dive spots all over the US. We have done a lot of research in the midwest and this is a resource you might find helpful, but at least deserves a look. If you can provide any information to make it better (sites not listed, information not show, updated information, or current pics) we would greatly appreciate it. If you do help us out, we wil enter you into a monthly drawing for a free Lake Diver T Shirt. If you have any suggestions on how we can do things better, use the "contact us" option on the site and tell us about it. We have an on-line form for filling out lake information. Thanks a million for the help, we truely appreciate it! www.lakediver.com
