Ah, OK.

I was asking because I have actually seen a large gathering of species of parrotfish that are usually seen in ones and twos and I was wondering if you had been to the same spot. On a recent Blackbeard's cruise I did a sunset dive and saw over a hundred rainbow parrotfish circling around a particular area of reef. It was mind-blowing. My dive buddy and I hovered in the same spot for about 20 minutes until the light faded and the fish moved on.

There were midnight parrotfish in the mix as well. I saw what might have been a harem - a huge, terminal male followed by about 6 smaller fish. They circled back around about half a dozen times. I have no idea what they were doing. They did not appear to be spawning but I couldn't be sure.
