Well I'm off the board a few days and come back to anus closeups (Closeup of the anus ).......
Cool urchin:D

John

does the ragged seahare sighting bode the pending mating aggregations (can't recall month from last years)???

Had a nice dive this evening at the bridge. Saw an interesting shrimp that looked like a piece of grass, new to me critter!

Also a super tiny pipefish.

and a BOBBIT WORM under the east bridge!

My tryout of close-up video using some diopters lenses attached to a GoPro Hero 3 BE. Went along on the dive with dumpsterDiver and that happens to be me in his videos thumbnail.

I concur with Kevin. I have ragged seahare aggregation pics from mid-late January in past years.

... Of course that doesn't necessarily mean anything when talking about critters at the bridge. If you asked me best time to see manatees I'd say winter. But I have also seen them in July.

Question for the trolls. I seem to remember something about one of the local dive shops offering discount rates at the Hilton Singer Island. Anyone know if this is true or is my mind once again making things up? If so could someone point me to the proper contact? Going to be in the area around Christmas this year and looking for a place to stay and really want to get a dive or two in on the bridge.

Jim that was a really cool looking Urchin! Is it Friday yet? Damn... Got my gear prepped last night since it's Halloween tonight and won't have time. See you tomorrow!
