Sully told me what kind of juvie sea robin it is, but I can't remember. He's definitely a cute one.
I've started a project to trying to post common and scientific names with most of my underwater pics on my Flickr site, and in conjunction with that I've made myself a "Word" document that includes most everything that I've been able to figure out to date. Don't know that that would be of any interest to anyone else, but happy to share. Who knows, my errors could change the names of all kinds of things.

I actually have seen some of that sort of thing take hold even here on ScubaBoard - dragonette for dragonet, gunard for gurnard, for example.
Also, there are lots of folks who know a *lot* more than I about what shows up at the bridge (many local divers, many of whom are very good photographers as well), but they don't tend to hang out on (or, at least participate on) ScubaBoard. But, I'm happy to share what knowledge (or speculation) that I have with anyone who is interested. I'm definitely a "hobbyist" and not a professional, and I have no delusions about ever winning any contests. As long as I can irritate folks like John by not culling my shots, I'm satisfied.
