Guitarfish from last night's dive at BHB! A first for me. Joanne found 2 of'em together--Thanks Joanne! And a tiny Sea Robin about 2 inches in length. Viz 20, temp 75.

We went today and found wonderful viz of around 30-35ft when not around human bottom dwellers! It was great after the tide turned and the classes were out. As we swam back from the east--best viz of the day about an hour after high tide! Nice diving with David and Mike--let's go again......

Found a new to me fish.. a Bathygobius goby..

My first ever dive at Blue Heron Bridge; first attempt using a macro lens in front of my Canon G-15 in the Ikelite housing; Sunday morning high tide; managed to not get entangled with anyone else (a major accomplishment); viz seemed to me to be 25+

Dove the bridge Saturday and Sunday and had great conditions. I've always favored the west side but had a really great dive on the east side yesterday. Lots and lots of octopus 9 on the east side and 3 on the west side. Not sure if my eyes were just tuned in for them but they were out in force. Two new critters for me, sea spider, and some type of dragonet.

Sea spider below (other files are too big to post) but plenty more on Flickr.

Good conditions again today at BHB. 77 DEGREES on my Suunto! 20-30 ft of viz, and again very good viz well after tidal change out off the beach--amazing! It was great to see William and Ro again after a 6 week layoff! Is winter OVER!

Some critters from last Friday's night dive
