Sounds like it's improving. Good. Wonder if this line of rain showers will drop it back down again. Thinking of going tomorrow.

There is a long period swell coming in mid week through the end of the week, so I would advise diving in the next day or two to get your fix!

Thanks.. hoping this storm dies before it arrives..
Where do you find the info on the long swells?

Most surfing websites will give you the info. Magicseaweed is the one I typically reference. Also I think the NOAA marine forecast might give the wave period as well. Anything around 10s and higher is considered long period...for Florida.

(sounding stupid here..), so you just look at the forecast and see the long swell periods? I have magicseaweed app..

Vis report. 30ft max with a drop to about 15 after the tide change. Water temp 71°. Saw 3 bumblebee shrimp on one urchin, out in the open posing for the camera. :) 3 batfish, 3 sharptail eels, barbfish, and a mushroom(?) scorpionfish. Also told two guys with brand new bright orange 6ft pole spears with 6 prong paralyzer tips that spearing is not allowed at the bridge.. :shakehead:

One of the three bumblebee shrimp on this urchin. Did not zoom in so those looking for them can better tell size. tiny..

BHB fan club on FB just reported 12-15ft vis and 72°

Might want to check back in May. :) Water warms up a few more degrees, the tourists are gone.. life is good.
