Thanks.. didn't see it in the book...maybe I'm looking in the wrong book? Reef Coral ID

hi tide on the 24th is 9:39...we usually start our dives about 60 minutes before hi tide...around 8:39, so I'd suggest you plan to be there before 8:00 to set up gear and get weighted for salt water
Thanks for the heads up Jim. That would be too early since we won't be down that way until closer to lunch time. I'll be back down again in the middle of march and will try and meet up again then. Thanks!

[h=2]Hi BHB divers ! If you aren't doing anything Wed Feb 29th from 8-9 PM, I'm presenting a "fish-inar". It's free, it's online, so you can learn 12 commonly seen fish at the bridge. You just need to go to the REEF.ORG website to get an ID (if you don't already have one). Then you can register for this (and other) fish-inars. You will be emailed a link to click on the night of the presentation and a phone number to dial into. I hope you can join the meeting !

Not Exactly Bums: Fish that live under Florida's Blue Heron Bridge
[/h]The Blue Heron Bridge in Florida might not seem at first glance like the most exotic dive spot in the world, but the fish that are found here can be quite unusual!

Within the The Reef Set, you'd want to look towards the back of the "Reef *Creature* ID" book. Honored to help, Miss Jenny. :D

Sounds like fun, but I don't understand the part about "You will be emailed a link to click on the night of the presentation and a phone number to dial into." How does one go about "dialing in"?Is it done via something other than my computer?? And, if it's say, Skype, I'm familiar with using "handles", but don't know anything about "dialing" with Skype. Sorry for my ignorance. Looks like I'm about to learn something.:D

Usually webinars (or in this case, fish-inars!) work like this: You log into the website where the presentation will be displayed for you to see. You then dial the number with a phone in order to hear the audio. It's usually best to do this with a 'speaker phone' so you don't have to hold the phone the whole time. This is my guess for how this will go down.

I have done quite a few of these webinars. Hopefully those in charge will mute everyone so we don't have to listen to people burping and farting in the background and listening to a TV in the background or hearing their kids screaming. I have heard a lot of stuff when people don't mute themselves and the people in charge don't do a mass mute. Sometimes it is quite funny when people don't realize everyone else can hear them. :)
