I know the black ice is much better.
I had one of these a couple years ago but got stolen while working in Portugal.

Do I really need the best and spend all that money again?

I love the simplicity of the outlaw.
But do you think it is strong enough for day to day use?
Is there enough lift if I need to get another diver out of the water?

Any thoughts on this would really help

I have both as a DM use the black ice it has better or extra bouyancy. If you go for the outlaw use the 25 pounds cell.
