To not do so suggests a motive that is less than honorable.

oh, come on ... let's not start ascribing motives to people ... we can't read minds

also, this thread has been on the TOS border, and has crossed it illegally, quite a few times

:rofl3:

for better or worse, ScubaBoard has the means to enforce its artificial borders

Have to love censorship!!! and we all were being careful and civil to one another...:shakehead I guess one better be careful about debating anything on scubaboard.. There are many posts/discussions that are not "scuba" related. This forum is a collabaration of scuba divers talking and debating about today's issues.:censored:

I think that we ought to keep in mind that just a month or so ago, this thread probably wouldn't have lasted more than 15 minutes. Why complain about the expanded leeway in regards to what topics that we are allowed to discuss on ScubaBoard?

ya ya too true too true

(da Fool scores)

I'm not American. I have no clue who OReilly is or what he talks about.
This is one thing.
Second - the topic switched from love/hate OReilly to immigration. While I don't see any problem in sharing your love or hate towards a journalist I see a problem in discussing immigration which per se is a political topic (at least in the US, but generally all over the world).
So I had two choices - pull the whole thread (now let's imagine what the comments would be then:D) or delete posts that clearly crossed illegaly the ToS (which is legal boarder of SB).
I decided to do the second. But - if that's your request - I can pull the whole thread.
The choice is yours.

i think you made the right call, imho
