I dont really like or dislike him but a do appreciate the issues he brings to light that others try to hide or give a passing reference to.

That's why I like him.

BKP:
You mean, other than the fact that the "illegal" came here illegally?

what a terrible crime. to cross an artificial border to feed your family

yeah ... boy, hardened criminals

you could in fact make the argument that it selects for strong character?

I wonder why we don't hear more about this labor force being a possible solution to the dwindling work force due to the changing demographics and the SS crisis?

I mean, folks...one worker for ever 16 retirees is a lot of load on your young backs. Sure you want that?

tell that to those who treat people coming in on their southern "artificial" border with a very firm hand of their law

Not Artificial, the LINE is SET......Immigrants have built this country, and we all have a lot to thnak them for, ah FREEDOM comes to mind right off the top. BUT, there is a way to come here legally and participate in the American lifestyle, or come here illegally and be a criminal. I grew up a Rancher and Farmer, I have experience at least with those seasonal Illegals. There were a few that were GREAT people and earned my respect, and I hope that I earned theirs. BUT, the vast majority what NOT fall in that catagory, criminal would be a "nice" description.
Now O'Reilly, I have seen him show respect to people of opposing viewpoints, when they can support their viewpoint. DONT WORRY THOUGH....
I'm Afraid that in the future you will only be able to view what the STATE TV says you can, Lou Dobbs undoubtably will be the TALKING HEAD of choice......say maybe in 2 years if H is given a pass.......so much for us forgetting what our forefathers had set out to accomplish here...

Who is interested in fixing our SS? I remember the attempt just 5 years ago and people balked....at least 27 years ago I had a economics teacher that understood, BACK THEN, it was going to falter, and have saved for my retirement....

The border is there, we have laws for a reason AND we have borders for a reason, the people crossing the border to work illegally in this country knew that it was illegal and that if caught, they may be punished. I have absolutely no sympathy for criminals. I know that some of them are good people, but they knew the consequences before jumping the border.

It is a lost cause and the people that know it are covering themselves.

Jimbo, this country has changed, my friend. You are trying to hang on, but its futile.

I am planning my get away, not just my retirement. Hey I agree with you, but we have to accept the fact that most people don't. I am on to plan B.
...Unless you would like to oragnize a Boston Tea Party in the Honolulu harbor? :D

Democracies go in 200 year cycles....we are in apathy phase.
