I just purchased the Viking bayonet dry glove system and put it on my dry suit last night. Haven't had a chance to dive with it yet. From the tension on the bayonet mount I can see how they could be difficult to undo. For now I plan to leave them attached and slide my hand through the wrist seal with the inner glove attached which will hopefully provide enough air movement to counteract squeeze.

I just bought a pair of the BOB3 gloves and used them once on a dive in Gilboa this year. These are a very nice system, it takes a little time to get everything setup but once they are set they are probably the best system available. You line up the glove ring and just give it an 1/8 turn and as long as you don't cross thread the ring it stays locked for the entire dive. You will want to lube the o-ring though as it will make it easier to doff the gloves after the dive. Now if I could just slip out of the rings and seals a little easier. I may need to trim my wrist seals a little to make it easier.

That's a thought.

Maybe I should leave the gloves connected and just pull my hands through!

I'll let you guys know how it works!

BOB3 is a regular poster in the exposure protection forum. Bob is a Viking Dealer and I believe it is the bayounet system that everyone discusses. Look through any lengthy post on drysuits and you should see a contribution from BOB3. Click on his name and send him a PM or go to his website, all of this info is in his bio section.

I'm using Skaana drygloves. No twist action here. Just simple click on, click off. Very easy to use, never been a problem.

On a related note, has anyone used the latex seal dry gloves and if so do they generally work ok ?

Well, per my post earlier, I have a pair on the way and will let everyone know what I think of them when they come in next week.
