i had no idea there were shipwrecks near milwaukee. next time i go to visit my mom in wisconsin (i grew up there, but never dove there) i'll have to research diving there.

IMHO some of the best wrecks in the world are off Milwaukee. The Prince Wihelm is a 300' plsu wreck sunk in 1951 and is nearly fully intact. It is in only ninety feet of water but settled on its side so the Corp of Engineers did not blow it to keep it below traffic.
