This may seem like a stupidly obvious question or answer but really, what is the best way or easist way to to carry or attach a basic catch bag?

It has been a long time since I have used my catch bag which is pretty basic, a locking clip, two handles, mesh bottom/canvas top. As I look at this I really don't see a great way of carrying this/attaching it other than just holding on to it as best I can. Any recommendations? I noticed newer ones in the shops these days have D-rings sewn onto them which seems convenient.

I tie a snap bolt to one handle with some line. Then just clip to left waist D-ring.

I used brass boat clips for years. I have had boat clips unclip for some reason. I have changed all out for Dive Rite SS snap bolts.

The handles will still close over the line. I use a bowline knot. There is probably a better one.

Home Depot and Walmart should have cord and clips.

I have heard of CheapScubaOnline.com. Anyone have any experience with them?

Aren't they the ones spamming the board today?
