Looking to explore some new spots. My list so far:

1. STB
2. Brant Rock
3. Flag Rock
4. Hathaway's Pond

Aside from what's on your list, Gun Rock in Hull (limited parking), Black Rock Beach in Cohasset (no parking available), Sandy Beach in Cohasset (resident parking only), Egypt Beach in Scituate (resident parking only), Burke's Beach in Marshfield (nice breakwall)

How about diving on the Cape is that considered south shore or jsut the cape?

If you are feeling a little mountain goat-ish, try climbing down the bluff at the Lobster Pound just south of Flag Rock.

Matt, have you every dove Black Rock? I might have a parking spot/s close by. Looks real shallow, but could be a promising high tide dive and lobstering site.

Is Burke's Beach near Brant Rock?

Yeah, but it was years ago. It is a shallow dive, but there's a lot of variety in the bottom terrain, and lots living in and among the rocks and boulders. A parking spot would definately be enough to convince me to dive it again.

It's not far... it's south of Brant Rock (just south of Green Harbor) near the Duxbury line. Follow 139 south from Brant Rock and take a left on Beach Street. There's limited parking available for $10 or resident permit holders, but it's usually all taken by 10am on busy weekends.

My great aunt and uncle(passed away years ago...great folks) had a place right across from the Green Harbor PO w/i walking distance of Burke's Beach. Lots of great childhood memories were made there. I remember one time my dad and his buddies were diving(not SCUBA) and jumping of the jetty rocks and the Harbor Master came by to warn them about sand sharks in that area. Sharks!! I was talking about that for weeks. Auntie Grace made the BEST clam chowder.
