You have certainly been to some of great dive destinations!

I have been to most of those places on your list above, except French Polynesia. I was scheduled to be on French Polynesia Master in May 2020, but the Covid & boat problem cancelled my trip. They replaced it with Galapagos Master, which was fantastic. I’ll be back on that boat in November this year. You should go there if you haven’t been there.

Another one is Malpelo, Colombia. I’ve been there twice. The 3rd one will be in July this year. You can check my trip videos in my YouTube channel: Dan Tirto.
@Dan

Did you enjoy Malpelo more that Cocos? I've been to both, but Malpelo only once...

It was very good, but I preferred Cocos.

Yes. I’ve been to Cocos 3x, Malpelo 2x. The 3rd time will be in July this year.

I prefer Malpelo. It’s like Wild, Wild West of diving in eastern Pacific. Just check out my trip video, below. You can see Leather Bass, Spotted Morays, Bluefin Trevally, Galapagos Sharks hunting together, Rainbow Chub cleaning station where they are lining up to rub their bodies against rock, huge schools of Bonito Tuna & Big-eye Jacks, several encounters with Whalesharks, Dolphins…

Yeah... thanks for sharing the video. We did Malpelo as part of a trip that included Malpelo (5 nights in Malpelo, and then another 6 nights in Cocos). The Sea Hunter group used to offer this combination on a small number of trips.

We saw massive schools of hammers, as well one smalltooth sand tiger shark quite deep (they can be found occasionally down deep at Bajo del Monstruo). However you clearly saw more Galapagos sharks that we did...

Malpelo is defintely wild, although Cocos (on a good day/good week) is still better (although the water has gotten warmer, chasing the hammers deeper).

The whole eastern Pacific diving destinations (Socorro, Cocos, Malpelo & Galapagos) are incredible marine megafauna diving destinations.
