hi strapz welcome to the PPD!

boracay's a great place to go, not so great diving but it's overall a great vacation spot

place to stay depends on your budget and preferences - from simple to mega-posh...

dive shops that i know of: victory divers is supposed to be good, and scubaworld and aquaventure are the major local operators and they have operations in boracay - they are good and professional and will treat you well and dive you safe.

post this too in the main philippine paradise divers forum so more of the guys will see it and give you even better recommendations

have fun!

I like villa de oro. Also Club Panoly. My Tito used to own that resort. Then sold it mid 90s.

Send Victor (Owner/Operator) of Victory Divers an email. He will hook you up with information and details.

Try to be there around the new or full moon so you get the big tide changes and currents that turn Yapak 2 on. It's as good as it gets. Victory is good. I'm partial to Fisheye, having worked there. They're small but dedicated, good people.

Thanks everybody. I prefer the small shops. They are more flexible.... BTW, How do I post/move this in the PPD section?

And what is a MOF?
you can ask KIM (our assigned moderator) to move it... you can private message him by clicking on his name and selecting "send private message"

MOF is "mask on forehead"... very very long story... chip will be the one in the best position to explain heheheheh

Oops!
straponghz3, i'll probably see you there!

I was just there, but this message might find you too late. I recommend you dive with New Wave Divers, they are spectacular.
