We were there for a week the end of April at Calypso Resort, then another 9 days at Puerto Galera. Alligator Island and the sites in the Northwest were good. Sites on the west side of White Beach where the snorkle tours are should be passed on, bad vis.
White beach is awesome, a long stretch of calm shallow clear water, eases up against a long sandy beach. Then a wide sandy path nestled between long line of shops and palm trees.
Great sunsets everyone comes out to see. Philippines are cheap once you get there.v

Ive recently started working with a dive shop in Boracay. Havent been there myself yet, but it seems like the diving in Boracay is quite good. They had a polution problem in the 2010's and shut the whole place down for some time in 2018. It's come out of it quite revitalized.. Probably a great time to go and visit.
