OK everyone this is more of a what do you think Question. But where would you say the best place for Lobstering is? I have been down to Warren's Cove in Plymouth, not bad there but it is almost fished out. Tell me what you think ? thanks :doctor:

Under rocks;)

The best place for lobster? On my plate or in my stomach of course! Unfortunately we're out of season here (and I don't take them anyway). Sorry- couldn't resist.

I've never done any lobster diving in New England. Wonder how it compares with lobstering here for our spiny lobster?

Well, our lobster can and actually do fight back, for one! You're not careful, and even a short can tear a gash in 5 mil of neoprene... A larger one will take your finger right off.. Kind of makes it more sporting :D

One thing you might not know is that a good lobster diver never gives up his prime spot. No one is going to tell you where they hit it big. They want to keep it to themselves and not let anyone spoil it...

BTW, I got 18 lobster on one dive at my favorite dive site recently ... (ALL LEGAL, I MIGHT ADD)...

LOL, and NO, I will never tell where!!!!

I never dove for lobster in Pacific but think it might be easier as you can pull the buggers from their hidin' spots with their bigger antennas? Here, you can't poke your hand in blindly unless you want to lose your fingers..

I do recall you could get in a world of hurt if a Pac. spiny lobster closes his/her tail on your fingers. ??
