I maybe in the same situation later on, as I just bought a ScubaPro NovaScotia 7.5mm semi-dry and used it once in SoCal last month. Looking to get the new 5mm Henderson Greeneprene for warm water travels. The drysuits I am considering are the Aqua Lung Fusion Bullet, Apeks KVR1, or another brand I can get convinced on. The SP semi-dry worked great, but the arms/legs are too long for my 5'8'' height stature. At the time of diving the water temps was 61°F for 49 min and I had no major problems other than my hands getting a little chilled towards the end using 1.5mm gloves. I'd consider a Santi or Waterproof as well, but I need to dive the semi-dry more to get more accurate diving opinion. Just too many options to choose from.
