I am going on my honeymoon to Provo the first week of June. Having heard that Turks and Caicos is a great dive site, I just finished getting NAUI certified and am looking forward to making my first dive on my honeymoon.

Any advice on being a first time diver and/or diving in Turks and Caicos would certainly be welcomed and appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Congratulations on your marriage and your certification.

As for advice, just take it easy. You are going to be nervous so just go with it. Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable doing - you can always say no if you don't feel comfortable diving. Two things that will help you
- keep your regualtor in your mouth at all times - don't get into the water without it in your mouth. Don't worry about sucking too much air and having to come up early. It takes practice not to.

- Take some baby shampoo to rub in your mask as an anti-fog. A squirt on each lense, rub it around and rinse most of it off leaving a thin layer on the lense. Johnson's is best as it really is no more tears.

Have fun. Oh, and welcome to Scuba Board.

OMG - I didn't even catch that when I wrote it. And here I wasn't trying to offer marriage advise, but if it helps...
