Hi,
I found a resort named Capt Don's Habitat online. Does it have a new name now or is that a different resort? Thank you,
Nancy

If you mean this one, that's in Bonaire not Curacao.

The one in Curacao, same location as what is called now "Coral Estate" was actually called: "Captain Don's Habitat Curacao" It went out of business several years ago and came back as "Coral Estate."

I used Ocean Encounters. It is where I did my first night dive. I explained my experience and concerns. A dive master kept a good eye on me. They seem to be a good outfit. Didn't need much help, but he checked on me several times throughout the dive.
How did you like the night dive?

I really enjoyed it. A whole different world at night. Probably why I like to snorkel around twilight as well as during the day. The sea life changes as the day/night progresses. Looking forward to more night dives. Did Tugboat to get my feet wet on night dives.

We stayed at the Lion's Dive and because I had a stomach bug the first days when I was supposed to be diving, we snorkeled at the resort, with the Dive Bus at the beach that has the B Diving operation and with Ocean Encounters at Directors Point (I think that's the name - near the Tugboat place.) They were both excellent!
Depending on what you are looking for, check out Bahia Apartments and Diving in Playa Lagun. Dive shop is great, super location right on the beach. Prices are reasonable. Have stayed there and will again the next time.
