CBulla, when are you going diving again, and where? ;)

Dude, a screw driver can get my Jeep started, key or not its basically open to the world. I find that leaving a baby diaper in strategic locations keeps things from being messed with though. :)

When I vis tanks this weekend I'm adding brass rings that I can run the Master contractor cable lock through so I have some security for multiple tanks . :eyebrow:

For those of us without tow hitches, cheaper solutions exist.

Realtor's Key boxes. About $30 or so. You just lock your key in the little combination safe and attach it to something solid and metal (like tow points) under your car. Easy peasy.

Dude! I love this! Awesome idea :D :coffee:

My car key gets zip-tied to a bolt snap it goes in a dry-suit pocket, either on the dry suit, or on the right hand one glued to my wet-suit.

Drysuits aren't always... dry. If your car has an electronic key that you can't get wet, I prefer to leave on dry land as much as possible. One suit flood could cost hundred of dollars with some of these fancy new keys.

I lock mine up in the realtor box, or put them in my dive buddy's trunk (buddy has a plain key that water can't hurt).

i keep it hidden inside the bumper on my expidition. it works pretty well, but it can be a ****** to get it after a cold dive

I have a car key/locker key on a string and put it around my neck when I dive. I hid the rest of the keys in the car. It's also great for going to the gym or going for a jog.

I had a customer about two months ago that was diving in Lake Michigan and when they came back to the car, the window was broken and the wallets and other various things in the car were stolen. Nothing was in plain view, they think that people were watching the divers, then knowing they were in the water, rob them.........You can never be too safe and if someone wants to, they can steal from you at any time

The baby diaper would keep me away too! :11:

I lock them in the truck. All I have to do when returning is punch in my code (keypad on the door) and the doors unlock.
