I have a car with keyless entry, so I hide my keys in the car and lock it. (And keep a spare in my BC, just in case.)

Diving wet I put the door key right under the sole of my foot inside the booty. Dry, well it's not getting out of there. I like the receiver hitch idea though. Gotta have one.

I have a spare key that I keep on a shoe string in my save a dive kit. When I get suited up, it goes around my neck. The other keys are hidden in the car.

I have a Yukon so, since I locked my keys inside at an RV store 20 miles away from home... I almost bought the service to get in. If not for the handy RV service guy who was able to break in for me, I'd have onstar again. They'll unlock your doors if you call them.

I'm going to have to investigate that hitch lock! I like that.

Oddly enough I just drop the key (not keyS but key) down the front of my wetsuit ... there's no way it can work it's way back out while diving (the neck seal is too good). Then when I need to get back into my car, I just reach in and fish it out and i'm back in business!

I lock my key ring in my car and put a spare key in one of those magnetic boxes you keep a spare in and put under the car somewhere
