My daughter just got her o/w, does anyone have any preferences on bcs for women? Anyone used the luna, she was asking about that one.

Depends, if your daughter is "grown" I'd recommend a Diva or Libra by Seaquest.

If not, I'd recommend a Dive Rite Transpac, if you buy it as a "kids" they will upgrade any parts that she outgrows until she's 16.

That being said, I think a backplate and wings combination is an excellent choice, there are plenty of threads here on that topic.

Depend on what size she is in. My daughter is 10, she is small for her size and I bought her a JUVI bcd from Triple-L, $52.50.... you read it right, $52.50 and it works great.

Sure I would love to buy her a BMW (read bp/w) but right now she just started out, don't know if she will like to dive in the future, so a new but inexpensive 2 door sedan (read JUVI) is the way to go for now. :)

Hope this help.

Another brand to consider would be Zeagle: Ranger Jr., Zena or Scout.

The Zeagle Ranger Jr. is a GREAT b/c. My daughter is 8 and uses one. It's a tad expensive but it is designed to grow with her. She should be able to use it until shes 16 or more.

At 50 bucks, I would too!
