Spooky Channel is also quite a major hump from the shore entry/exit point. I don't know if you can dive Verde Grande from the shore, I have never seen it done that way, but it also begins quite a serious swim offshore.

The thing about "very little life there" is a function of the exposure to the Northern sky.

They are excellent night dives, however. Lot's of creepy critters going bump in the night!

It is directly off the dock and a rope takes you right there! It is cake and I have done it a hundred times! The channel drains an estuary and a fresh water spring, the water shimmers and is brackish at times, but there is a ton of life! I have seen turtles, rays, drum fish, eels, toad fish, grouper, and a list as long as my leg in the channel! It is always a different dive and one of the things a love about it!

The Cathedral is my favorite place in Spooky!

Feather dusters in the Estuary where the water was 92* in August! Coral is very healthy and these are giant worms!
