I do not care what I get, or do not get, from the Bauer shop, other than a far superior compressor
With internet assistance, parts from Filter Techs there is no need to set foot in a Bauer shop again
Although with every Bauer shop I've dealt with, I have received frienship, and substantial discount
Although once with a seasonal delay on gaskets from a 1980s model

Normaly you do not need any support from a Bauer shop if you have a Bauer. They run and run and run......
But yes, not every Bauer shop makes a good support, unfortunately.

My L&W 100 E arrived a few weeks ago and I'm happily using it now.
The documentation is well done and understandable even if it's your first compressor that you operate. There was a slight issue with a fuse being set too aggressive. After describing the problem I got a reply very quickly from the support including a detailed action plan and pictures of how to fix it.
While it's expensive, it is so much more comfortable being able to fill your own tanks instead of driving an hour each way in rush hour traffic to a dive shop.
