Anyone dived in Batam before? Is it affected by the monsoon? Any recommendations?

Am itching to go diving and West Malaysia is closed till mid/late feb.

Visibility is not good there, but you can expect some interesting critters and wrecks.

Yes some interesting critters (seahorses, nudis...) in so so viz; but still better than Singapore waters ! DiveRiau is a very professional outfit.
