I am trying to find the best suit for the money around $1300. I have been looking at the USIA but I think they are all Bilam suits. I could get the Bare trilam HD Tech for $1300 or the USIA with undergamet for around $1500

You can find some good High end used one for that price. DUI, Whites.

Try Bare CD 4 pro dry crushed neoprean. runs about 950 to 1100 CDN. US a little cheaper.

Also the undergarments are where the real warmth is at. that can run from 150 to 450$

all depends on the environment you will dive.

IS the CD Pro better? Or just different material?

I got the Bare Trilam HD about 6 months ago, and love it. I ordered through divetank.com, and they gave me a good deal. I had pockets attached on each side, and I think they're well worth the money.

I have the bare XCD2 pro dry and it is 2 mm Hyper copressed Neo. Differnt than crushed, not as great as it is not a true crush. It is a 7 crushed to 4 and then sliced to 2. Has inner linning of metalite? plentty nice suit. Latex wrist and neo neck. Purchased about $1000. Bare ct-200 undies great deal at $200 and are great.

Check www.divetank.com

If you can get the trek boots as well they may be the way to go. My suit is an older 2004 model with 7mm boots. New boots are 4mm not sure how these will do

As Horn already stated, check out www.divetank.com, they're in Canada and an authorized dealer for DUI and Bare. I'll be buying my drysuit from them later this year. Good luck.

I have a Tech HD and love it. I also have three buddies that have bought Bare after seeing mine.
One thing that I love about Bare is all the stock sizes. Being 6'2" and 170lbs, most I would have bought a custom suit. With Bare it was in stock.

I dive a Bare XCD2 and like it a lot. Last weekend I was diving in San Diego on a boat with about half the divers in drysuits. Most were DUI and mine was the only completely dry suit of the bunch.
